    Great share. I made every one of these mistakes before I started testing my soil first instead of blindly adding more fertilizer.
    I picked up a soil meter from Yieryi for pH and moisture, and having an actual number to work from finally took the guesswork out of feeding my plants.|Great write up.
    What helped me most was checking soil pH before assuming my
    plants needed feeding, because a lot of the yellow leaves I was seeing turned out to be a pH problem, not a nutrient one.
    My Yieryi tester caught it in a few seconds, saving me a trip to the lab.|This lines up
    100% with my experience. I used to water on a fixed schedule
    and ended up overwatering half my pots. A simple soil moisture
    meter fixed that for me, and my Yieryi one just tells me when the soil is actually dry so I stop overwatering.
